Terms and Condition of Booking

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

The booking of the excursion is confirmed after full payment is made.  Once confirmed, the booking cannot be cancelled and payments made are not refundable.

CANCELLATION
The Management reserves the right to cancel the excursion due to bad weather or poor sea conditions, etc.  In such cases, the passenger is given a choice to join the trip on another day or  refund to be made.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
Once the excursion is booked and confirmed, any changes are subject to the following:

  1. Change of date / change of name for bookings less than 7 days prior to scheduled departure date are not allowed.
  2. For bookings more than 7 days prior to scheduled departure, you are allowed to substitute the ADULT passenger name in the booking with another adult or child passenger without any additional charge.  If substitution is a child, there is no refund in the price difference between adult / child price.  If the substitution is an adult for a child fare paid, the difference between the child / adult price must be paid at the East Marine Office prior to boat departure.
  3. You are allowed only 1 time name replacement. The replacement name should be sent by email (info@eastmarine.com.my) to East Marine from the original booking email address and subject to confirmation by East Marine via email.
  4. No refunds will be made for any unused portions of the excursion.

CHECK-IN, DEADLINES & CONDITIONS
All passengers are required to report at our mariner at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club at least 45 minutes before scheduled trip departure.

NO SHOW
Failure to check-in on time or board the boat by the time the boat departs will result in no refund for any reason whatsoever.

PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is given for the sole purpose of making bookings / reservations and facilitating marine park permits, insurance, etc.

MEALS
Meal menus are subject to variation from time to time.  Food may contain nuts, dairy and/or gluten.  Meal selection must be made at the time of booking.  We do not guarantee any changes to your meal selection less than 48 hours prior to trip departure.

VALUABLE ITEMS
Passengers are strongly advised not to bring valuables – items such as passports, money, jewellery, etc.  Such items will be carried by the passengers at their own risks.
